Tire Installation & Mounting in Brampton

Mounting is more than just popping a tire on a rim. We inspect your rims for damage and corrosion, clean the bead seat, fit new valve stems where needed, properly seat the tire with the right lubricant, and torque every lug nut to manufacturer specification. The result is a leak-free seal, balanced rotation and no surprise vibrations on the highway.

Two details separate a proper installation from a rushed one, and both are invisible once the wheel is back on the car. The first is the valve stem: rubber stems perish with age, and reusing an old one to save a couple of dollars is where most mystery slow leaks begin. The second is torque — lug nuts tightened with an impact gun and never checked against a torque wrench either stretch the studs or warp the brake rotor.

With the tire off, the bare rim also tells you things you cannot see otherwise: corrosion on the bead seat that causes a slow leak, a bend from a pothole, a crack on a hard-hit alloy. We look before we fit, because a new tire on a compromised rim will not hold air any better than the old one did.

A set of four is usually done in under an hour. Alloy wheels benefit from a re-torque after 50 to 100 kilometres of driving, and we will tell you if yours are the type that needs it.

Questions we get asked

How long does tire installation take?

Around 45 to 60 minutes for a set of four, including balancing and torque. Seized hardware, TPMS relearns or wheel locks with a missing key can add time.

Do you replace the valve stems?

Yes. Rubber stems age and perish, and a reused one is the most common cause of a slow leak after new tires are fitted. Vehicles with sensors get a fresh service kit instead.

Can I bring tires I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we will fit them. Bring the wheels or the whole vehicle and we will mount, balance and torque them the same way we do our own stock.
