Mounting is more than just popping a tire on a rim. We inspect your rims for damage and corrosion, clean the bead seat, fit new valve stems where needed, properly seat the tire with the right lubricant, and torque every lug nut to manufacturer specification. The result is a leak-free seal, balanced rotation and no surprise vibrations on the highway.
If your steering wheel shakes at highway speed, the most common cause is unbalanced wheels. We balance every new tire we install on a calibrated computer balancer and add adhesive or hammer-on weights as needed to bring each wheel within spec. Balanced wheels mean smoother steering, longer-lasting tires and less strain on bearings, tie rods and suspension bushings — issues that get expensive if ignored.
Front tires on front-wheel-drive vehicles wear about twice as fast as the rears. Rotating front-to-back roughly every 8,000–10,000 km (or with every oil change) keeps the tread depth even across all four corners — so you get the full mileage your brand new tires were built for, plus consistent grip in rain and snow. Picked up a nail on the 410? Most punctures in the tread area can be safely repaired. We dismount the tire, inspect the inside casing for hidden damage, apply a combination patch-and-plug from the inside (the only repair method recognised by the Rubber Manufacturers Association), remount and rebalance the wheel. Sidewall punctures and slashes can't be safely repaired — we will tell you straight if the tire isn't repairable.

Alloy wheels are lighter than steel — meaning sharper steering response, slightly better fuel economy and less unsprung weight — and they look great. Sold individually or as a set of four. Steel rims are the smart choice for a dedicated winter tire package — tough, inexpensive and easy to live with through Ontario salt and slush. They're also the standard OEM replacement for many sedans and minivans. We stock steel wheels in the common Brampton-area sizes and can build a complete winter package: rims + winter tires + TPMS sensors, ready to bolt on when temperatures drop.
Most vehicles built after 2008 use a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS): a battery-powered sensor inside each wheel that talks to your dashboard. When you buy a second set of rims (for example for winter tires), each rim needs its own sensor — otherwise the warning light will stay on all season. We fit brand new TPMS sensors, seat them properly at the valve and program them so the system reads correctly.
After a tire change, sensor swap or seasonal wheel swap, the vehicle's TPMS module often needs to learn the new sensor IDs. We use a TPMS tool to wake up each sensor, write the new IDs into the vehicle's body control module, then verify the warning light is cleared and each tire's pressure is reading correctly on the dash. No more nagging warning light.
