Not sure what size you need?
Open your driver door and look at the sticker on the door frame. It lists the size your vehicle was built for, written like 225/65R17. The same number is moulded into the sidewall of the tires already on the car.
If the sticker and the sidewall disagree, a previous owner changed the wheels — go with the sticker unless you know why it was changed. Our guides on what tire size fits your car and how to read a tire size walk through both cases, and load index and speed rating covers the letters that follow the size.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find out what size tires my car needs?
Open the driver door and look at the sticker on the door frame - it lists the size the manufacturer specified, written like 225/65R17. The same number is moulded into the sidewall of your current tires. If the two disagree, a previous owner changed wheel sizes; go with the door sticker unless you know why it was changed.
What do the numbers in a tire size mean?
In 225/65R17: 225 is the tread width in millimetres, 65 is the aspect ratio (the sidewall height as a percentage of the width), R means radial construction, and 17 is the wheel rim diameter in inches.
Can I fit a different tire size than the one on my door sticker?
Only within limits. The overall rolling diameter must stay close to the original or your speedometer reads wrong and, on some vehicles, the traction control behaves oddly. The load index and speed rating must also meet or exceed the original. Call us with your vehicle and we will tell you honestly what will fit.
